Es gibt verschiedene Unzen: u.a. troy ounce (das ist die für Gold relevante, 31,1.. g), fluid ounce (das sind glaube ich die 28,... g)

Ursprüngliche Bezeichnung für Gewichtseinheit: Das Goldgewicht wird meist in Unzen angegeben; dabei ist eine Unze = 31,103 g.

Maßeinheit von Gold:
Das Goldgewicht wird in"Troy Unzen" angegeben (1 Troy Unze = 31,1035 Gramm). Im asiatischen Ländern gibt es noch die Maßeinheit"Tolas" bzw."Tael".

Da halte ich es doch mit den Goldseiten, wobei ich deren Quelle leider nicht kenne.

Die Troy ounce ist definiert als 1 oz (Tr) = 480 grains, wie zutreffend dargestellt. Das grain ist wiederum in metrischen Einheiten definiert als 1 grain = 64,79891 mg (exakt). Damit ist 1 oz (Tr) = 480 * 0,06479891 g = 31,1034768 g (exakt).
