„Comments: Mercury remains retrograde through November 7. This is a time band that favors very short-term traders more than position traders. It is a time when technical indicators can become skewed, giving many false signals.... Always remember to take profits quickly during this period. The apparent trend can change back and forth very quickly.... Unfortunately, I don’t think geocosmic studies can tell us which scenario is most likely."

Dann bringt er drei Szenarien:
1) Die Tiefs werden getestet, halten aber
2) Lorusso 5 Point Reversal Pattern"... the market makes a low, then a high, followed by a lower low, followed by a higher high, then finally a slightly lower low again. This is what we might be seeing in the S&P futures. A very sharp decline is in process, and should be done by Monday. But between now and then, it might seem like the sky is falling. In this set-up, another huge rally follows, one that is sustained for quite some time."
3) Elliott-Wave Scenario. Das erste Mal, dass er EWT erwähnt (und mit nur einem t schreibt). Eir kennen es schon von woanders her, gell, JüKü."... we could say the recent rally was an A-B-C for a minor wave 2. If so, the sharp decline yesterday in the NASDAQ and S&P is just the start of a vicious wave 3 down. Wave threes are the most serious price moves. It is possible to read this even more ominously - it might be wave 3 of an even bigger wave 3, which means the decline could register record one-day levels very quickly."

Weiter:
Thursday is probably the center of the most uncertain, confusion-ridden, geocosmic time band of the year.

Interessante Bemerkung, auch zur Marktpsychologie, abgeleitet aus den geocosmics:"... investors may be totally lost and confused. That makes sense to me, because after looking at all the earnings reports that have come out recently, we see that over half the companies fared better than expected, about 25% came in about as expected, and less than 20% fell below estimates. And yet, to read the news, you would think that over half the companies reported worse than expected earnings.... It’s not really as bad as it appears."

Merriman ist ein guter Geschäftsmann. Mit dem Cycles Report allein ist es manchmal schwierig zu verstehen, wo man sich gerade befindet im big picture. Für das big picture gibt es einen separaten Brief, den SOS Stock Market Special Report. Auch mit beidem zusammen ist es nicht ganz leicht, gezielt zu handeln.

Analoge Briefe gibt's für Japan.
