Während den katastrophalen Entwicklungen in den drei Südstaaten liess sich
der Präsident kaum vernehmen, bzw. glänzte durch Abstinenz (Alkohol not
included).

Was den Menschen zusätzlich Sorge bereitet, sind die fehlenden Militärs und
Hilfskräfte in den drei notleidenden Staaten. Diese Kräfte weilen im Iraq,
wo sie weder nützlich noch willkommen sind. Sind sie auf Heimat-Urlaub, werden
viele Militärs umgehend nach New-Orlean oder andere versehrte Orte delegiert.

Allenthalben herrscht, über soviel Arroganz des Präsidenten, grösste Ablehnung
und weitverbreitete Verachtung, über die Einfältigkeit des selbst-
ernannten Weltverbesserers.

Es gab also auch nach T-Online Anhörungen im Kongress zu diesem Problem: der Gefahr für New Orleans.

Die in der"Verschwörungstheorie" erwähnte Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) gibt es tatsächlich und sie veröffentlicht auch Berichte über Gefahren - Berichte, die man nachlesen kann, wenn man will.

Ist es überhaupt vorstellbar, dass eine so entwickelte und von Wissenschaft geprägte Nation sich keine Vorstellung von drohenden Gefahren machen kann?
