Stand vor 4 Wochen jedenfalls in der FT, dass der Laden von GE übernommen wird, also eine Übernahme auf Ansage, komisch, dass es keiner gesehen hat...
GE to buy Sanyo Credit for $1.1 bln - Reuters (35.81 )
Reuters reports General Electric (GE) said on Friday it would launch a $1.14 ln takeover bid for leasing firm Sanyo Electric Credit, marking a potential windfall for top shareholder Goldman Sachs (GS). GE said it would pay 3,250 yen per share in a tender offer, a premium of nearly 62% from Sanyo Credit's closing price of 2,010 yen in Tokyo on Friday. GE said it would aim to buy at least two-thirds of the co for an estimated 90.14 bln yen ($764 mln) but would buy all shares tendered, which could boost the deal to 135 bln yen. Sanyo Credit said it had agreed to the offer, which will run from Monday to May 9. GS held a 33.4% stake in Sanyo Credit as of last month, making it the top shareholder in the leasing firm at that time.
