sobald der nahe Monat auf Verfall deutliche höhere Preise zeigt, als die hinteren ist ein weiteres Indiz gegeben (Forwardation, vrgl. Palladium Explosion)

Da widerspreche ich. Zumindestens kenne ich es bestens von den Ã-lfutures. Kurz vor Auslaufen ist die Aussagekraft des near-by-Futures sehr begrenzt. Allerdings gibt es beim Ã-l kurzfristige Manipulationen im physischen Markt, beim Gold wahrscheinlich nicht. Jedenfalls ist beim Ã-l ein Contango (höhrer Preise bei entfernteren Futures eher ein Indiz für fallende Preise.

Wie gesagt, beim Ã-l vielleicht anders als Gold (Gold stinkt auch nicht so).
