"this is one of the scariest charts i have ever come up with. all the while volume increases, the dow trades sideways to lower. all those trasactions for nothing! heck, with that much volume, you'd think the dow could manage a new high or three. now with all the damage that's taken place, the increase in volume is really a reflection of what is happening with fewer stocks and that's why the dow has been unable to make a new high. this is NOt a bullish picture."
