Der Goldpreis machte heute einen Sprung. Vor allem zu Beginn des US-Handels aber noch mehr stieg es nach Beendigung des Handels in London an. Insgesamt legte der Goldpreis um 5,10 US-$ zu. Auch der Silberpreis konnte steigen. Silber schloß in New York mit 4,21 US-$ was einem Plus von 6 US-Cents entsprach. Nachgegeben haben hingegen die Gold-Lease-Rates. Goldaktien stiegen stark an.
