Die österreichische Zentralbank soll angeblich für 1 Milliarde Dollar Gold gekauft haben. Wären immerhin etwa 100 Tonnen. Hat jemand davon etwas gehört oder gelesen?

It is true in regard to Gold that only the official statement made by the European Union at the Washington Agreement in 1999 recognised Gold as an official asset. But with the Austrian Central Bank acting in the manner it just did in acquiring an additional $US 1 Billion worth of Gold, the Euro nations are all aligning their own official reserve holdings, including Gold, preparatory to the Euro's start.
