-->interessante Ueberlegungen von Richard Russel:
""""""""""""""""""
I think Bush is simply the front-man for a bunch of guys who read the tea leaves wrong. Look, I know there's danger from Islamic fundamentalists -- everybody knows that. But the guys behind Bush were a bunch of arrogant goof-balls who didn't see the picture and weren't thinking straight.
Somebody's will have to take the"fall" for this mess, and I believe it will be Wolfowitz. As far as Bush is concerned, I don't think he's got the brains to screw-up this badly. And as far as Bush's endless speeches, I can't even listen to them any more.
The expenses for Iraq will be going off the charts. No other nation is going to send money and soldiers to bail out the US as long as the US insists on leading the parade. Furthermore,, I think most nations now welcome the chance to knock the Pentagon off its arrogant pedestal. In the meantime, the US will be paying the costs of the whole Iraqi miasma, and these costs will go on and on into the unforeseeable future. Frankly, I find it hard to believe the mess this Administration has got us into.
And how about the poor reserves who thought they'd be in Iraq for a month of two? Now they're thinking a year at least. It's sad.
