Browser maker Opera to seek IPO in March (MSFT) By Steve Goldstein
LONDON (CBS.MW) -- Opera Software, the Norweigian maker of an Internet browser by the same name that competes with Microsoft (MSFT), on Monday said it will go public in Oslo."Opera has come far, and a public listing will give us more flexibility to expand our position as a leading player in the Internet arena," said Jon S. von Tetzchner, chief executive. It will apply for a listing in March, using joint lead managers Enskilda Securities and ABG Sundal Collier.

Ein stiller Opera-Fan, bei dem der Mailabruf nicht funktioniert.

Ich selbst benutze wechselweise Mozilla 1.5 / Mozilla Firebird / Opera,
jedoch vorzugsweise Mozilla 1.5, da er die gewohnte Oberfläche von Netscape hat!!

-->Aber es scheint bei einigen Providern Probs mit Opera zu geben, wie aus dem dortigen Forum zu entnehmen ist.

Ist aber noch kein Grund, zu M$ zu wechseln.
