10:00 - Berna Biotech warns FY breakeven unlikely after H1 net loss
BERN (AFX) - Berna Biotech Ltd said it is unlikely to break even in the full year due to high levels of investment for future growth, although the second half of the year will be better than the first.

In the first half, the Swiss biotech company posted a net loss of 21.9 mln sfr due to seasonal factors and the high levels of investment.

Core sales rose 34 pct to 56.4 mln sfr.

Production issues in the past mean its business plan is roughly one and a half years behind schedule, it added.
