Retail sales, kam gerade ex WSJ alert an - schon bekannt? Thread gesperrt |
Retail sales dropped 2.4% in September, the Commerce Department reported, as
consumers cut spending on all but essential items in the wake of the
terrorist attacks. The decline, the largest since February 1992, is likely
to increase fears that the country has entered a recession. A separate
report showed that wholesale prices rose 0.4% last month.

Daher kam ja der Taucher. Das erstaunlich positive Konsumentenvertrauen hat scheinbar das Schlimmste noch verhindert.
