Tokyo stocks to open higher on royal baby boost
TOKYO, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Tokyo stocks are seen opening firmer on Monday, with market sentiment boosted by the long-awaited birth of a royal princess over the weekend.

But traders said the baby's positive impact was likely to wear thin later in the day and ultimately be limited to individual shares (...Pampers???....tofir), given that investor eyes are still on Wall Street to dictate tone.

The royal birth should ignite a rush of short-covering at the start, but the trend of closely tracking U.S. stocks has not been altered, said Yutaka Miura, deputy manager of Shinko Securities' equity information section.

Hallo, Tofir,

in der Ruhe liegt die Kraft!

Wenn's allerdings ein baby-boy gewesen wäre, hätten wir wohl mit 5% + rechnen müssen. So haben wir erst mal mit einem verhaltenen Minus eröffnet.

Wobei der Nikkei nach dem allernächsten unten strong buy ist, ebenso wie der HS.

die kleine tochter (prinzessin) soll geweint haben, als sie den schluss des
nikkei heute morgen vernommen habe (minus 326.82 oder 3,10 %).

in japan helfen selbst die ankunft einer prinzessin nicht mehr zu einer
ein-tages-recovery. das ist dann wirklich zum weinen. da kann nur der
hoffentlich später ankommende prinz noch weiterhelfen.
