dear mr. rubin
Sir:
your bank (citi-bank) is involved heavely in the enron-deal. you served many
years as an advisor in the clinton-administration, dealing with most powerful
financial matters.
it is worldwide quoted, that citi-bank is also involved in damaging the
south-african-rand currency by dumping the exchange rate from ZA-rand 6.50
to one time 13.65 in december 2001. the sources of such facts are at least
very solid and respectable.
mr. rubin, some investors would like to know how the responsible officers
of your bank (very much including you personally) can afford such a negative
press and the outcome of dramatic damages vis-a-vis south-africa and the
international investment community.
maybe such speculations by dumping a currency of an underdevelopped country
must be shown as a sustained investment for your customers?
emerald.
