Gold (Weekly)
Gold has reached a key resistance zone at 20 weeks from the last high. In the past few years, all but one high-high cycle has been 21 weeks or less. Gold is in an extreme time zone to complete a high comparable to those on the chart below.

The rally from the Dec. low clearly appears to be corrective with overlapping swings. This implies that when a top is complete, it is very likely gold will continue the bear trend to below the Dec. low.

The short term pattern will help us to identify the signals that confirm or void a potential bull trend.

Seasonal Bias
Moore Research Report (www.mrci.com) reports in the past 15 years, gold has been lower in mid-March than late Jan. which clearly signals a bearish bias into March.
