NEW YORK, Feb 26 (Reuters) - The U.S. Consumer Confidence
Index fell in February to 94.1 from an upwardly revised 97.8 in
January, the Conference Board reported on Tuesday.
January's index was previously reported at 97.3.
Economists polled by Reuters on average had forecast the index
would fall to 96.8 in February.
The private research group's closely watched expectations
index fell to 93.6 in February from an upwardly revised 97.6 in
January.
