J.P. Morgan now a 'strong buy' at DBAB (JPM) By Tomi Kilgore
Analyst George Bicher at Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown has upgraded the shares of J.P. Morgan Chase (JPM) to"strong buy" from"buy," citing a"very low" valuation and"troughing" risk profile. He added that the stock has the most to gain from a strengthening economy, since it would aid in putting other risks, such as Enron and telecom loans, in perspective."The company has product capabilities and corporate relationships that can provide top-line leverage in an improving capital markets cycle," Bicher said in a note to clients. The stock, a component of the Dow industrials ($INDU), closed Tuesday up a penny at $32.51.
