Coeur d'Alene files warning on Chapter 11
Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp, the largest silver miner in the USA, has raised the prospect that it might be forced to file for bankruptcy protection. In a lengthy filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission, the company disclosed that it has a $19.8m payment due on June 10 and roughly $18m in cash on hand. The company said it was exploring several options to raise additional funds, including the sale of assets."Absent of any increase in precious metals prices or an increase in our cash flow, our large amount of indebtedness may require us to seek relief under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code," Coeur d'Alene said in the filing.

Seltsam dabei ist, dass CDE letzthin noch Minen zugekauft hat - Fragt sich nur WER im Konkursfall profitiert?! Und die Aktionäre wären mal wieder die Dummen. Das Ganze stinkt zum Himmel!!!
