But Capital One Financial Corp. (COF) ranked as the big loser of the day with a tumble of $16.60, more than 32 percent, to $34. The credit card issuer said it had entered into an agreement with regulators regarding its reserves on bad loans, prompting fears of more defaults by its clients than previously thought.
