ich bin kein mediziner aber hier die testresultate:

Results of the first phase III trial of T-20, TORO-1, were announced on April 18. Patients in the T-20 arm of TORO-1 achieved a reduction in HIV plasma viral load (pVL) of 1.697 log10 copies/ml (98.0%) at week 24, whereas patients in the control arm of the trial achieved a reduction of 0.763 log10 copies/ml (82.7%). The difference in magnitude in TORO-1, 0.934 log10 copies/ml, was statistically significant (p<0.0001) and exceeded the prospectively defined measurement of T-20 efficacy, 0.5 log10 copies/ml.

Results from the second phase III trial of T-20 were announced on May 16. Patients in the T-20 arm of TORO-2

achieved a mean reduction in HIV plasma viral load (pVL) of 1.43 log10 copies/ml (96.3%) at week 24, whereas patients in the
control arm of the trial achieved a reduction of 0.65 log10 copies/ml (77.6%). The difference in magnitude, 0.78 log10 copies/ml, was statistically significant (p<0.0001) and exceeded the prospectively defined measurement of T-20 efficacy, 0.5 log10 copies/ml.
Data presented this morning at IAC include a variety of responder analyses. These include percentage of patients achieving pVL <400 copies/ml, percentage of patients achieving undetectable pVL (i.e., <50 copies/ml), percentage of patients achieving decrease in pVL ³90% (i.e., ³1 log10 copies/ml), time to virological failure, and percentage of patients responding to therapy. These analyses all show that T-20 is extremely effective, and all the results were highly statistically significant.
