ich hab Sie schon mit Ihrem ersten Posting unter diesem Header verstanden (und Schumpeter auch). Aber weder Sie noch Schumpeter überzeugen mich! Eine (in den Sozialwissenschaften künstliche!) Trennung von ‚logischer und historischer Genese des Geldes' kann zu einer logischen, aber nur zufällig zu einer brauchbaren Theorienbildung führen. Und das ist nun mal der Zweck der Ã-konomie.
In anderem Zusammenhang, aber hier durchaus passend, hat mir einer meiner Lehrer in einem Brief einmal folgendes geschrieben:
"I tell my students that the best way to evaluate any logical model is to
consider the model builder as if he/she is a magician. Model builders rarely
make logical errors in moving from axioms to conclusions, any more than
professional prestidigitators drop the deck while performing a card trick.
Model builders excel at creating the illusion of pulling relevant policy
conclusion rabbits out of their black hat model. The more surprising the
rabbits pulled from the hat, the greater the audience enjoyment and applause.
Accordingly, a careful examination of the rabbits put into the
hat backstage is required to evaluate the rabbits pulled from the hat on
stage. The policy rabbits pulled from the hat cannot be criticized, if the
rabbits going in are already accepted."

Wir müssen das Thema wirklich nicht weiter vertiefen. Ich freue mich darüber, dass und wenn Sie anderer Meinung sind.
Und, nein, zur Konsequenz Ihrer letzten Frage. Hatte ich aber schon (in meiner Antwort and Galiani) gepostet.
