-->Die durchschnittliche Laufzeit eines Autokredits beträgt nun schlappe 5 Jahre. Meines Wissens ist das sogar ganz leicht über dem Level der durchschnittlichen Zeit bis zur Erneuerung des Wagens (ca. 4-5 Jahre???) kann es aber nicht belegen. Auf jeden Fall ist es Wahnsinn Autos über 5 Jahre abzuzahlen... Aber wem sag ich das:-)

The average annual percentage rate the automakers charged in the third quarter was about 2.23%, a record low and 350 basis points lower than the second quarter. The average maturity on a loan, at 59.4 months, was much longer than the 51 months averaged last fall during GM's first zero-percent financing blitz, and also the widest average maturity ever.

Addtionally, the loan-to-value ratio -- or the amount of the loan in relation to the underlying value of the vehicle -- was about 96.3%, well above last fall's 92%."I don't know what more you could do to bring consumers into the market," Girsky said.
