***FIRE ERUPTS AT BP REFINERY
Fire has struck BP's 420,000 b/d Whiting, Ind refinery, OPIS has learned.
This is a breaking story and OPIS is in the early stages of developing
information. Reports indicate that there has been at least one injury, but the
unit or units involved is not known at this time. OPIS will continue to update
as detail become available.

***UPDATE: BP REFINERY FIRE
The fire currently underway at BP's 420,000 b/d Whiting, Ind refinery is in
an FCC unit, OPIS has learned. BP has told OPIS that a statement on the
incident will be issued shortly, and OPIS will continue to report details as
they become available. the refinery has about 165,000 b/d of FCCC capacity.
the FCc is a major gasoline producing unit.
