Our skies were stilled
Our land burnt and torn
Our fellow Americans killed
Our mood solemn, forlorn

We wept for the injured
Mourned the loss of innocent lives
But from within the ash vowed
To rise and survive

Our nation and people
Fell under attack
But this is the U.S.A.
We unite and fight back

Old Glory flies high
For the whole world to see
Our voice grows louder in song
In tribute to the land of the free

We prove to be a nation of heroes
Performing selfless deeds
No longer strangers, but family
No matter race, color, creed

Our unity is strengthened
As is our faith, spirit, trust
To defend liberty and justice
We'll do what we must

And we pray to our Father
In the Heaven above
"God Bless America"
