-->In einem Vortrag vor dem Milken-Institut (www. milkeninstitute.org) entsann sich der bekannte Verleger (News Corp.) offenbar der traditionellen altrömischen Variante des Machtspiels, siehe dazu u.a. Cicero passim:

"Oderint, dum metuant"

Sie mögen uns hassen, wenn sie uns nur fürchten...

Ursprünglich Textstelle aus einem antiken Textfragment als Ausspruch von Agamemnons Vater.

Laut AP ex Milken dieses:

"Media mogul Rupert Murdoch said
Wednesday Americans have an inferiority
complex about the world's opinion and
that Iraqis eventually will welcome U.S.
troops as liberators.

"We worry about what people think
about us too much in this country. We
have an inferiority complex, it seems,"
Murdoch said at the Milken Institute
Global Conference. "I think what's
important is that the world respects us,
much more important than they love us."

Dass eine gänzlich"neue Weltordnung" am Horizont aufzieht, ist möglich und wenn sie erscheint, sollte es nicht verwundern.
