Dell Computer (DELL: news, chart, profile) share could get a lift after Goldman Sachs analyst Laura Conigliaro upgraded the company to her top rating of"outperform" from"in line," citing the PC maker's growth prospects and valuation. Conigliaro also raised her rating on the enterprise hardware sector to"neutral" from"cautious" given firming end market conditions and seasonal factors.
Fannie Mae (FNM: news, chart, profile) and Freddie Mac (FRE: news, chart, profile) received upgrades from Merrill Lynch to"buy" from"neutral," saying recent trading in the companies' shares in the face of less than favorable news is consistent with a bottom in stocks.

NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- UBS reiterated its bullish stance on the homebuilders, viewing the group's recent pullback as an"excellent opportunity" to build positions."Rates rose sharply over the summer months, and though the stocks contracted 8 percent, demand remains solid. As such, valuations are even more compelling than usual, in our view," UBS told clients in a research note. UBS said its top picks include Lennar (LEN), Ryland Group (RYL), and KB Home (KBH), which ended on Friday down 1.6 percent, 1.1 percent and 0.8 percent, respectively.
