chart:EUR/USD-The broader outlook remains bearish but in true Frank Sinatra style, the Euro is attempting yet another comeback. Immediate resistance resides at 0.8439 ahead of 0.8474 (61.8% retracement of yesterday's decline from 0.8530). While an initial test is likely to be rebuffed, a successfull assault would refocus attention on 0.8530 (61.8% of the move down from the 0.9020 intervention high to 0.8227). A break beyond this point would unlock 0.8624 and ultimately 0.8660.

the swiss Core CPI for October: +0.4% y/y (+0.1% m/m). The September figures were at +0.3% y/y (0.0% m/m). as expected..Of interest will be the November CPI when quarterly surveyed housing rents are again taken into account. We expect there a core CPI on the rise.
