Looks like the same guy had already tried the egold path before..

This was received on Oct 10....exact same wording (typos, bad spelling
and all...;l))

Dear e-gold user.

At 10.09.2003 the e-gold company has blocked a number of accounts
in the system connected with money laundering and credit card fraud
activity. The information in regards to those accounts has been passed
to our corresponded banks, local and international authotities.

Due to database operations some accounts can be lost. We are insisting
to our clients to check their account if they are active or if their
current
balance is right.
If you will find any presence of fraudulent activites at your account -
let us know immediately at e-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Don't wait until criminals will steal your money - help the authorities
to
block their accounts.
