NEW YORK (CBS.MW) - Cable networks giant Comcast (CMCSK) has made a bid to buy Walt Disney (DIS) in a deal valued at $66 billion. Under terms of the deal, Comcast would exchange 0.78 shares of its stock for each Disney stock outstanding. Based on Tuesday's closing prices, the deal values Disney shares at $25.69 each, 6.7 percent premium. Disney's stock, a component of the Dow industrials, closed Tuesday up 31 cents at $24.08.
