-->Irgendwie wäre das doch ein schönes Paradoxon: Haben die Amis jetzt bei der Inszenierung der Tötung der Saddam-Söhne, angeblich im Verlaufe einer"stundenlangen Schlacht", hemmungslos zu Propagandazwecken gelogen? Oder bei der Verhaftung des"echten" Saddam? Oder zu beiden Anlässen?
Beide US-Verlautbarungen (Söhne - Vater) können jedenfalls DANN nicht zugleich wahr sein, WENN die unten stehende Meldung bzw. die Einschätzung von Saddam Husseins erster Ehefrau inhaltlich wahr sein sollte.

The International Committee of the Red Cross is expected to deliver a message from former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein to his elder daughter Raghad who resides in Jordan, according to Arab sources.
Raghad was reportedly contacted by the ICRC and they will soon give her a message that Saddam wrote her, one of the sources said.
"This is expected to take place within 24 hours in Amman and Raghad will write a reply to her father, which the ICRC will take to him," according to reports Sunday.
Raghad and her sister Rana have sought refuge in Jordan with their nine children since July 31, 2003.
Meanwhile, an ICRC spokesman in Jordan, Moin Qassis, confirmed that"a message from the former Iraqi president will soon be handed over to his family."
The message was written by the former Iraqi president when he was visited by two representatives of the ICRC - a doctor and an Arabic-speaking delegate - on February 21 at an undisclosed location, he said.
"The delay in delivering it was motivated by practicalities," Qassis explained.
Saddam"could have written several messages but he decided to write only one", he said, adding that the ICRC would also take a message back to Saddam from any member of his family in keeping with the humanitarian agency's policy.
In the meantime, according to London-based al-Quds al- Arabi newspaper, Raghad maintains daily contacts with Saddam's wife Sajeda Khairallah Telfah, who reportedly lives in Damascus and not in Yemen.
Raghad and Sajeda speak every day, according to the report, in particular discussions focused on Uday and Qusay.
The report added that Sajeda believes Uday and Qusay Hussein are still alive, and that the pictures released by US authorities were merely"fake".
The US military released graphic after-death photographs in July 2003 of the two brothers in an effort to prove they were killed in a fierce gunbattle in Mosul.
Saddam's first wife Sajeda was mother to Uday, Qusay and three daughters - Raghad, Saddam's favorite; Rana; and Hala. (Albawaba.com)
