-->The index of leading indicators was unchanged in February after increasing 0.4 percent in each of the two previous months. Four indicators had a negative impact on the composite index: the 10-year to fed funds spread, consumer expectations, building permits and new jobless claims. The remaining six components were positive: factory workweek, new orders for consumer goods, new orders for nondefense capital goods, stock prices, vendor performance and money supply. While the index was unchanged for the month, it doesn't change the fact that the path of economic growth is solid. The index was in line with expectations and is not likely to impact financial markets this morning.
