-->Clarification RE why I quit this board
I had an e-mail from one of my many friends here asking me why I am leaving. So in order t clarify that I am going to stop posting on my own volition I would like to re-iterate my last post.
Thanks to those here who supported my beliefs re an American culture that has become so decadent that invading, killing and maiming and destroying other countries is acceptable among the majority of brain dead Americans who don't have an conscience. I do appreciate their support.
Unfortunately I am sick and tired of the fascists here who would limit free speech and call people names if they don't agree with their stance on the value of human life, Iraqi human life in particular but also any others who end up on the receiving end of American agression and injustice in the future like Iran, Venezuela, and a host of other countries unfortunate enough to have to share this planet with the United States of A-holes.
Saturday I went to the Vancouver action marched along with 22,000 other people through downtown.
I realized then that I was better off staying here in Canada where people think differently than down there. I found myself in good company. I held a sign that said NO MORE HOMELAND STUPIDITY, with a swasticka superimposed over the state of Texas. My wife held a sign that said NO MORE PIRACY with a drawing of Bush looking like a pirate as the letter"O" in NO.
I am so fed up with those minority of you who sit back and applaud the bloodthirsty soldiers who murder innocent people to defend your country against a bogus threat, a contrived threat made up by your cruel leaders.
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation ran a documentary on Saturday Night to counter the BALONEY from CNN with their serial"war stories". It showed the Americans as the barbarians that they really are.
Canadian public opinion is rapidly shifting to a very anti-American stance so I don't care who calls me nuts or sick or an idiot of whatever those morons choose to call me. It makes no difference to me. If I am"sick" then so must Bob Dylan be who wrote the song below which I happen to agree with 100%
This song was sung to the 22,000 marchers on Saturday and received a thunderous appause. I was very proud right then that I have the guts and strong sense of morality, standing up for what I believe is right. It was a 2 mile march and I can barely walk at the best of times due to my physical disability. So I'm VERY proud of myself that I did this instead of going shopping or watching a golf tournament on TV and going on as if nothing was going on in the world 1 year after the invasion of Iraq.
To those who are glad I'm gone....lets y'all give a big Texas Yeeeee Hawwww and ask y'allselves when you get to send your kids to die for a PIG President, a COWARD president.
Like I said last night. I will cease posting here until your government is replaced and Americans come to their senses which means I'm probably going into a sort of self imposed exile for quite some time.
