Euro-zone annual inflation up to 1.7%

EU15 stable at 1.5%



Euro-zone annual inflation rose from 1.6% in February to 1.7% in March 20041, Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities, reports today. A year earlier the rate was 2.4%.

EU15 annual inflation was 1.5% in March 20042, stable compared to February. A year earlier the rate was 2.3%.

EEA annual inflation was 1.5% in March 2004.
