-->(12/05/04 CNBC) Fed actions will be at gradual pace. Inflation increase this year transitory. Mixed signasl (on inflation expectations). Oil prices clear concern for Fed.

Not a 2004 FOMC voter, but comments which veer to the dovish side and which look designed to dispel notions Fed may be behind the inflation curve. Oil concerns will be more about their impact as a 'tax on consumption' than inflation implications.
