Israeli Cabinet Approves Attacks on Palestinians, AFP Reports

Jerusalem, Nov. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Israel's security cabinet gave Prime Minister Ehud Barak free rein for military attacks on the Palestinians, while delaying any retaliation for a bus bombing and other deadly attacks earlier this week.

''The security cabinet gave the green light Thursday night to a series of operations to prevent attacks and punish those who ordered them, but we must not act as if its a game of ping-pong and attack night after an attack as everyone expects,'' Sneh told army radio, according to Agence France-Presse
