Speaking of Greenspan and the Fed, the way events are going, I think you can forget about a rate increase when the Fed next meets on August 10. The problem for Greenspan is that if he doesn't raise Fed funds by.25 percent, the market will take this as a sign that the economy is so weak that it can't stand another small rate increase.
