Nun beginnen die Detailprobleme. Abgaben müssen einen Termin haben. Wahrscheinlich Erntetermin ein oder zwei - je nach Klima.

Aber: Vor dem ersten Abgabetermin werden keine Felder brach liegen (Subsistenz-Niveau) und die Vorräte (Nahrung und Aussaat) werden bestenfalls bis zum nächsten Erntetermin reichen.

Mit anderen Worten weder ist jemand da, der einen Überschuss verleihen könnte noch lässt sich Überschuss kurzfristig erwirtschaften (Urbarmachung zusätzlicher Felder, eventuell zusätzliche Bewässerung bauen, Aussaat, Ernte) und dann reicht das zusätzlich Erwirtschafte nur aus um die Abgaben zu liefern (30 Prozent sind ja kein Pappenstiel), nicht aber um Überschüsse zu verleihen - gleichgültig ob kollektiv oder individuell Abgaben bezahlt wurden.

Auch wenn wir unterstellen, dass die Vorräte wegen möglicher Missernten so hoch waren, dass die Abgaben zunächst aus den Vorräten geleistet werden konnten, löst dies nicht das grundsätzliche Problem, weil nun die Vorräte wieder durch zusätzliche Anstrengungen aufgefüllt werden mussten. Wieder ist nichts da, was verliehen werden könnte.

Das internalisierte Verleihen kann erst beginnen, wenn über die Abgabe hinaus Überschüsse erwirtschaftet werden, die weder als Sicherheitsvorsorge noch als Saatgut benötigt werden.

Da jedenfalls liegt mein Problem mit Deiner Erklärung der Entstehung des Zinses.
Hast Du Dir mal das Thema „social storage“ angesehen?
