State Attorney General Bill Lockyer and Alameda County joined a suit by a computer programmer and activist against the voting equipment company over the sale of faulty equipment. Problems with Diebold (DBD) equipment in the March primary forced 6,000 voters to use backup paper ballots. Rather than pursue criminal charges, Lockyer decided to join the civil suit accusing Diebold of making false claims. Diebold fell 9 cents to 49.

...die Frage ist natürlich wie immer warum hängt sich der Staatsanwalt da rein und started keine Untersuchung auf strafbare Handlung.
