Blanchard & Co.'s class-action anti-trust lawsuit
against Barrick Gold and J.P. Morgan Chase, a
companion to Blanchard's anti-trust suit seeking
injunctive relief against Barrick and Morgan
Chase, was indeed filed yesterday in U.S.
District Court in New Orleans.

The class-action suit seeks to recover damages
from Barrick and Morgan Chase for "all citizens
and residents of the United States who
purchased and/or sold gold or contracts of sale
of gold for future delivery during the period from
January 1, 1998, to the present and who suffered
damages as a result of such trading."

The new lawsuit has been posted in Adobe
