In his March 17, 2003 speech giving Iraqi President Saddam Hussein 48 hours to leave the country, Mr Bush said this: “Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised.” Earlier, in a speech on October 7, 2002, Bush said this: “The Iraqi regime...possesses and produces chemical and
biological weapons. It is seeking nuclear weapons. We know that the regime has produced thousands of tons of chemical agents, including mustard gas, sarin nerve gas, VX nerve gas....And surveillance photos reveal that the regime is rebuilding facilities that it had used to produce chemical and biological weapons.”
In his State of the Union address of January 2003, Bush accused Iraq of having enough material - “to produce over 25,000 liters of anthrax - enough doses to kill several million people....more than 38,000 liters of botulinum toxin - enough to subject millions of people to death by respiratory failure....as much
as 500 tons of sarin, mustard and VX nerve agent.”
In his solemn presentation to the UN Security Council on February 6, 2003, Secretary of State Colin Powell said that Washington “knew” that Baghdad had dispersed rocket launchers and warheads containing biological warfare agents to locations in western Iraq. “We also have satellite photos that indicate that banned materials have recently been moved from a number of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction facilities,” Powell said. “There can be no doubt that Saddam Hussein has biological weapons and the capability to rapidly produce more, many more.” In Congressional testimony in April 2003, Powell said the weapons “will be found.” He said of his UN speech, “everything we had there had backup and double sourcing and triple sourcing.”

If one’s premise is that they all knew from the start that the entire Iraq enterprise was based upon lies, but chose not to resign, then these
same people are the most dangerous people inside the United States because of their executive positions.

"Charles Duelfer, head of the CIA-linked Iraq Survey Group appointed by George Bush to the US Congress: “Iraq had NO stockpiles of biological and chemical weapons and its nuclear programme had decayed since the 1991 Gulf War”. Defence Secretary Don Rumsfeld admits there was never any “strong, hard evidence” linking Saddam to al-Qaida.
Mr Duelfer's report now confirms that the combination of UN sanctions and inspection plus external pressures - including the two “no-fly zones” - had kept Saddam contained. Duelfer believes that Iraq destroyed its WMD
in the summer of 1991. He finds nothing to document any programmes after that time.
The Iraq Survey Group report concludes that ALL of Iraq's WMD stockpiles had been destroyed in 1991 and all WMD programmes and facilities dismantled by 1996."

Es ist klar, daß sie von Beginn an wußten, daß sie lügen. Können sie es sich überhaupt erlauben die Wahl zu verlieren?
