In March 2000 liquid assets of mutual funds dropped to 4.0%, eclipsed only by the 3.9% low recorded in May 1972. This so called Liquid Asset Ratio has been compiled by the Investment Company Institute since January 1968.
Guess what? After reaching a high of just 6.5% in November 2000 [typically this number rises above 10% in a bear market] ICI reports that as of the end of June 2005 we are back to 4.0%.
Oh well! Might as well stay fully invested. Greenspan will cover our losses anyway. He will, won't he?

und noch ein 'Typikum': In den AAA-Gazetten von heute steht doch schwarz auf
weiss, dass 90 % sämtlicher Indikatoren für höhere Aktien-Kurse sprechen.
Also da muss es einem direkt bange werden, wenn es nur noch die Einbahn-Strasse
gibt!
