in einem Buch (Werner Tabarelli"Ferdinando Galiani 'Über das Geld'", Erstmals ins Deutsche übertragen und ausführlich kommentiert, Düsseldorf, 1999) fand ich dies:

"Es gab auch von privaten Banken ausgegebenes Papiergeld (cedole, fedi di credito;...)"
(Fußnote 35 auf Seite 47)

Was hat es denn damit auf sich?
