Neues Beispiel für geniale US Arbeitslosen Statistik
-->The NY Post’s John Crudele on the Employment Report: “Tally up the job losses in each of the 50 states between August and September and you find that hurricanes Katrina and Rita cost Americans roughly 205,000 jobs — mostly in Louisiana and Mississippi.
That number surely makes a whole lot of sense considering the destruction in those two states.
But take a look at the federal government's tabulation for those two months and you'll see a nationwide loss of only 8,000. That, of course, makes no sense.
The trouble is, both the 205,000 figure and the 8,000 number come from the same source — the U.S. Department of Labor.
"These numbers make the official report look very bizarre," said John Williams, who tracks these mind-rattling discrepancies on ShadowStats.com.”
