Re: Wie geht's weiter? mT
Heute früh hierzu im Internet aufgeschnappt:
"A couple new readers again ask about how deep a decline this month could be, and would they get as good a buying opportunity as last month. Some think they want to buy at prices they didn't take action on, and we'd say a couple of things: first, welcome aboard, and while able we will try to continue calling these shots as we see them, more often right than not (no assurances can be made about the future however, which has always been the case); and second, take an attitude that if you were aboard the run with us, terrific, and if not, there's always another stock, always a new trade, and always another day. And you'll rarely correct being too bearish during an uptrend of the magnitude we just had by buying at the"confirmed" top, as so many lately are trying to do. Further, please don't assume if stocks went all the way back down it would be a plus; maybe not.
Let me explain that a bit further: the answer is we never know, but we do know that if prices go that low, then it's not a great opportunity. In essence you shouldn't let stocks fall as low as they were if there is a bullish case to be made longer term (beyond the requisite strong rebound into what technically is the right shoulder"armpit" of a"head & shoulders" top). For sure this may be Greek to new investors, but to seasoned traders we're sure they all understand that if the pattern is indeed as favorable as we suspect, then you get something less than a"lockout", (meaning straight-up), but more than a new rout (meaning further test of the lows, which wouldn't likely be a test if it went that low. Hence, a one-third to one-half retracement, filling the upper two gaps (at the most) would be bullish (those are not essential to be filled, but logical), while a drop that filled all of them (all the way down to the 1380's) would be too nasty, probably not bullish at best, and suggest what you're seeing here as a false upside breakout in such an event."
