Lies hier:

... He ordered his men to bomb Kabul ruthlessly, and they intensely targeted civilians. Thousands of Kabul civilian were killed or expelled from their houses because of this war. Beside; his another Commander (Zardad) closed the high way of Jalal Abad-Kabul to prevent supply of food and medison to the Kabul residents. Despite all the efforts he badly failed taking Kabul.

In January 1994, Hekmatyar allied with the same general against his personal enemy (Masood) and a new round of war started, which caused the death of more than 24000 civilians only in Kaboul. This alliance was also doomed to failure again to take the control of Kabul, following the looting and complete destruction of the city.
