Hyperion ist in so ziemlich jeder größeren Company, die ich kenne, das zentrale Konsolidierungs- und Reportingtool. Falls Oracle die Übernahme von Hyperion tatsächlich gelingen sollte, hat SAP meiner Meinung nach plötzlich wirklich ein Problem. Denn dann ist Oracle plötzlich fast überall präsent und nicht mehr bloss in der AS400-Welt der seinerzeit übernommenen JDEdwards, was selbst der dümmste IT sales guy zu seinem Vorteil nutzen können sollte.
