King warns of further turmoil

The Bank of England Governor has warned that it is still far too early to assume that financial markets have recovered from the recent credit squeeze, saying they could yet be shaken by a"more [!] disruptive movement".

Mervyn King said recent"tremors in financial markets" could auger more turmoil to come, and had already played a significant [!] part in the Monetary Policy Committee's meeting last week, when it voted to leave interest rates unchanged at 5.75pc. (Statt der erwarteten Erhöhung auf 6).

Aaah, die Katze miaut schon kräftig.
