Dow/DAX gehen jetzt total gaga....

-->Tja, man muß es neidlos zugestehen: Ellis Dauertalk von wegen die Fundamentals zählen nix, bestätigt sich heute wieder mal eindrucksvoll. Es passiert das exakte Gegenteil dessen, was an und für sich angezeigt gewesen wäre:

-"You're seeing a continuation of the recent momentum," said Chris Johnson, CEO of Johnson Research Group."There was unfavorable news in the financial arena, but the market is still rallying, which tells you that investors are afraid of getting left behind."

Aha. Na, dann...

Was waren die bad news du jour?

- Citigroup stock rose, even after the company warned that its third-quarter earnings could slump 60 percent because of $3 billion in write-downs the company had to take due to subprime-backed securities.

OK, nur 60% Gewinneinbruch, is ja so gut wie nix. Daher: 2% drauf!

Swiss bank UBS (Charts) said it will take a $3.4 billion write-down in the third quarter and post a quarterly loss, because of subprime-related losses. UBS shares rose 2 percent.

Wie meinen? Abschreibungen so hoch, dass sogar Verlust im 4. Quartal? Scheiss drauf: machen wie auch 2% drauf!

Haben wir nochwas?

Ach so, ja:

- In economic news, the Institute for Supply Management said its September manufacturing index fell to 52.0 from 52.9 the previous month. Economists surveyed by Briefing.com thought it would fall to 52.5.

Kam also auch deutlich niedriger rein, als erwartet. So what? Auf zum All-time-high...

Was sagt der Faber, dieser dauerpessimistische schweizerisch-sinoistische Alpenkasperl?"Wenn nahe am Top schlechte Nachrichten ignoriert werden, dann ist der Crash nicht mehr fern"...

Kann sich also eigentlich nur noch um Stunden handeln...
