Although trading has resumed on the stock, the New York Stock Exchange
earlier halted trading of Honeywell (HON:NYSE - news) after the company said that its second-quarter earnings would miss the 13-analyst estimate of 78 cents a share. Honeywell blamed the shortfall on softer-than-expected revenue, parts shortages, higher raw material expenses and higher interest rates. The company said it expects to post EPS between 73 cents and 77 cents a share. Honeywell slid 8 5/8, or 17.7%, to 39 7/8.

77 cent statt 78 cent? Und dann minus 17 %??????????
