Wall Street investors and economists were anxiously awaiting what Greenspan has to say on Wednesday.

"I think the market is much more focused on Wednesday's testimony than that of two weeks ago. We're all hanging on pins and needles," said Carl Tannenbaum, chief economist at LaSalle Bank/ABN AMRO.
